Onboarding Specialist

Roles & Responsibilities:   

  • Gather and evaluate documentation submitted by merchants during onboarding. 
  • Address and resolve screening results from World-Check and other monitoring platforms. 
  • Review AML and onboarding alerts, making informed decisions and resolving issues. 
  • Liaise with clients regarding onboarding requirements and conduct ongoing account reviews. 
  • Lead calls with potential clients, presenting findings to relevant operations teams. 
  • Generate both regular and ad-hoc reports as needed. 
  • Assess risk and AML scoring outcomes, categorizing clients appropriately following onboarding and AML procedures. 
  • Utilize templates and scripts for client communication. 
  • Collaborate closely with AML, Risk, Sales, Monitoring, Support, Compliance, and R&D departments. 
  • Adhere to established procedures and suggest improvements based on client feedback. 
  • Complete ISR reports as applicable. 

Expectations & Requirements:   

  • Demonstrated experience (2-3 years) in the onboarding of corporate clients. 
  • Possessing AML certifications is advantageous. 
  • Previous experience in onboarding corporate clients within the payments sector is beneficial. 
  • Collaborative and able to work well within a team. 
  • Fluent or native-level proficiency in English. 
  • Outstanding communication abilities.
