The company, a leading global financial spread betting provider with 20+ years of experience, uniquely offers all its services under one brand and looking for a talented Financial Trader to join their growing team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assessing and quantifying our exposure to risk, and implementing hedging strategies as needed.
• Facilitating the execution of trades on behalf of clients.
• Evaluating client behavior and performance metrics.
• Managing the reflection of corporate actions in both client and broker accounts.
• Performing essential Trade Desk administrative duties efficiently and promptly.
• Collaborating with the development team to enhance platform functionalities and internal systems.
• Committing to an evening shift on a weekly basis.
• Handling a diverse portfolio including single stock equities, FX, index futures, and commodities from the outset.

Expectations & Requirements:

• A background in a quantitative discipline is preferred.
• At least 1-3 years of experience working on a CFD or Spread Betting dealing desk is essential.
• You will uphold exceptionally high standards, with meticulous attention to detail and thoroughness as central to your approach.
• You should possess a hands-on attitude and the capability to perform effectively with minimal supervision.
• You need to handle quantitative challenges proficiently.
• You will be expected to think creatively, question existing procedures and systems, and implement measurable enhancements.
• You should be adept at recognizing both immediate and long-term risks and opportunities to our services and formulating strategies to either mitigate or capitalize on them.
• The role involves direct client engagement, both over the phone and face-to-face. Therefore, strong communication skills with a clear, concise, and personable approach are highly valued.
