Senior QA Manual Engineer

Job Description

Our client is seeking a QA Manual Engineer to join their dynamic team, offering a fantastic opportunity for career advancement and growth. In this role, the individual will focus on test planning, execution, and hands-on product validation. Success in this position requires a solid grasp of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes, coupled with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. 

Roles & Responsibilities:   

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our systems to effectively contribute to key ongoing projects. 
  • Formulate and define the test planning strategy and select appropriate test cases. 
  • Create and maintain well-structured, efficient, and reusable test cases. 
  • Perform peer reviews of test plans to ensure quality and adherence to industry best practices. 
  • Execute test procedures and/or scripts, either manually or using automated tools. 
  • Consistently update and manage test documentation to reflect changes in the application. 
  • Collaborate closely with developers, manual and automation testers, product managers, and other stakeholders to align project goals and deliverables. 
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior team members. 
  • Identify testing risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring test reliability. 
  • Engage in both manual and automated testing, working with developers and other stakeholders to identify and resolve defects, ensuring that products meet quality standards. 

Expectations & Requirements:   

  • Hold a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. 
  • Possess over four years of hands-on experience in manual testing. 
  • Ideally, have a background in both manual and automated testing for websites, web portals, and mobile applications. 
  • Preferably, have experience with FX trading, including familiarity with MetaQuotes systems, payment processors, and CRM systems. 
  • Demonstrate a robust understanding of software development and testing lifecycles. 
  • Exhibit exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities. 
  • Showcase strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. 
  • Proficient in using defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla. 
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. 
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
