Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and positive Financial Analyst / Risk Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in our financial operations, with a focus on CFD and forex trading activities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, bringing extensive experience in the CFD and forex trading industry and a familiarity with UAE financial regulators such as the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA). Experience with the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) is a bonus. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Analyze financial data related to CFD and forex trading activities, providing actionable insights and recommendations. 
• Monitor trades for market abuse and ensure best execution practices. 
• Conduct PnL analysis and ongoing monitoring. 
• Track and analyze market trends. 
• Ensure adherence to regulations and guidelines set by the SCA and DFSA. 
• Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and budgets for management review. 
• Collaborate with various departments to enhance financial performance and risk management. 
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes. 
• Manage and monitor the firm's trading books across multiple asset classes, with a focus on proprietary trading in FX and CFDs. 
• Address any issues with quotes and platforms, particularly within the prop CFD business. 
• Assist with the operation and management of the CTrader platform and potentially MT4/MT5. 
• Perform other duties as assigned by management. 

Experience and Qualifications: 

• University degree with at least 3 years of experience in financial analysis or related fields; or a diploma (or lower) with at least 8 years of relevant experience. 
• Professional qualification such as: 
• CISI- UAE Financial Rules and Regulations 
• CISI- International Certificate in Wealth & Investment Management (Level 3) 

Alternative Qualifications: 

• Experience of 3 years in financial analysis or related fields, with any of the following qualifications: 
• Accredited Financial Analyst
