Job Description
A lending protocol for staked and restaked assets. Earn more and stay liquid with zero price-based liquidations. The development team, with experience managing over $1B in Total Value Locked (TVL), is seeking a developer to research, develop, and deploy DeFi and solver network software. This includes work on DeFi lending, RFQs, MEV auctions, and solver networks.
Our Team:
The smart contract team at this protocol has successfully deployed multiple decentralized lending markets with innovative designs, including but not limited to isolated pairs, reactive borrow rates, flash leverage and deleverage strategies, RFQs, and price-agnostic liquidations. Collectively, the team brings extensive experience from DeFi protocols with a combined $1B+ in TVL.
Who We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a motivated developer who excels in research, development, and deployment of mission-critical software across DeFi and solver networks. The ideal candidate will have an interest and expertise in the following areas:
-
Decentralized Lending
-
RFQs (Request for Quote)
-
MEV Auctions and Solver Networks
These topics are central to our roadmap for creating a highly capital-efficient DeFi market that extends beyond traditional pooled lending models. More details are provided in the Qualifications section below.
Qualifications:
- Deep Knowledge: Refers to having direct contributions or integration experience with related projects, and understanding of lower-level details.
- Familiarity: Involves following topics at a high level with interest, though without direct contributions.
Experience:
- Proven experience shipping production Solidity smart contract code to mainnet.
- Experience in developing and maintaining smart contract tests (e.g., unit testing, fork testing, fuzzing, invariant testing with Foundry or Echidna).
- Deep familiarity with smart contract development tools, such as Foundry (preferred) or Hardhat.
- Familiarity with other smart contract development languages and frameworks (e.g., Vyper, Rust, Cairo, Cosmwasm).
Other Nice-to-Haves:
- Personal experience in CTFs, gas golfing, or hackathons.
- Interest in blockchain architecture beyond Solidity (e.g., Rollups).
- Experience as a user, investor, or enthusiast in DeFi protocols.
Knowledge:
- Deep knowledge of one or more of the following DeFi codebases: Compound, Aave, Morpho, MakerDAO, Euler (pre-hack), EVC, Liquity, Frax AMOs, Pendle, and Uniswap V3.
- Familiarity with liquid staking codebases (e.g., Lido, Rocket Pool, Stakewise) and LRTs (e.g., EtherFi, Renzo, Swell).
- Familiarity with restaking codebases (e.g., Eigenlayer).
- Familiarity with solver networks (e.g., CoW Protocol, UniswapX, 1inch).
- Familiarity with MEV auctions (e.g., Flashbots, MEV Blocker, auction infrastructure code, searching, or block building).
- Familiarity with RFQs (e.g., Hashflow, 1inch RFQ, or off-chain exchange systems including TradFi).
What You’ll Like About Us:
- A fast-paced team focused on shipping products and researching new mechanisms in decentralized finance, with opportunities for late-night discussions and spontaneous product ideas.
- Emphasis on advancing employees’ careers and networks within the crypto ecosystem.
- Extensive network and partnerships with leading DeFi and blockchain infrastructure companies.
- A transparent, flat culture between teams.
- Opportunities to travel to conferences as a team.
