DevOps Engineer (Russian speaking)

Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll manage infrastructure and automation with a focus on GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Docker. Working closely with the development team, you'll ensure efficient, secure deployment of web applications in a growing FX trading company.    

Roles & Responsibilities:   

  • Develop, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines in GitLab to streamline the entire software development lifecycle. 
  • Work closely with development teams to containerize applications using Docker, ensuring uniformity from development to production stages. 
  • Monitor and resolve system performance issues, ensuring consistent uptime and reliability across all deployments. 
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to create scalable and consistent environments. 
  • Integrate security and compliance protocols within the CI/CD processes to maintain best practices. 
  • Proactively seek opportunities to automate and enhance existing workflows. 
  • Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and tools to continuously improve DevOps operations. 

Expectations & Requirements:   

  • Over 3 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps role. 
  • Proven expertise in using GitLab CI/CD for automating build, test, and deployment processes. 
  • In-depth knowledge of Docker for containerizing and deploying web applications. 
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, alongside Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. 
  • Proficient in scripting languages like Bash or Python. 
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools to maintain system performance and health. 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  • A proactive mindset for identifying and implementing process improvements.
