Roles & Responsibilities:   

  • Lead and mentor a team of manual testers in crafting and executing test cases and plans. 
  • Develop and uphold manual testing processes and procedures in line with industry standards and best practices. 
  • Plan and prioritise testing tasks to ensure timely and efficient execution. 
  • Ensure manual testing activities are completed promptly, meeting project deadlines and deliverables. 
  • Report on testing progress and status to the Head of the QA department. 
  • Enhance software quality throughout the entire development cycle. 
  • Verify that software meets both functional and non-functional requirements. 
  • Manage and continuously review in-house testing documentation and test strategies. 
  • Mentor team members to support their professional growth and success. 
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in testing technologies and methodologies. 

Expectations & Requirements:   

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (preferred). 
  • Over 3 years of manual testing experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership role. 
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. 
  • Comprehensive understanding of software testing methodologies and processes. 
  • Experience with web and mobile testing (iOS and Android). 
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong team collaboration and critical thinking skills. 
  • Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail. 
  • Familiarity with test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or XRay is advantageous.
