Roles & Responsibilities:   

  • Oversee and enhance the use of Atlassian tools (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence) across various teams for optimal performance. 
  • Tailor Jira workflows, queues, schemes, and Confluence spaces to match business needs and processes. 
  • Create automation scripts using Jira REST API and Python to simplify tasks and develop custom Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). 
  • Work closely with teams to establish new Jira projects and review existing setups to ensure efficiency. 
  • Track and analyse KPIs from Jira to monitor performance and drive process improvements. 
  • Provide technical assistance, conduct user training, and maintain comprehensive documentation for all system configurations and workflows. 
  • Support broader IT automation initiatives as part of the DevOps team. 
  • Keep abreast of Atlassian updates and integrate best practices for continuous system enhancement. 

Expectations & Requirements:   

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience managing Atlassian tools, including Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence. 
  • Expertise in using Jira REST API and Python for automation, scripting, and creating custom dashboards. 
  • In-depth knowledge of Jira customisation, including workflows, schemes, custom fields, and permissions. 
  • Proven experience with Agile, ITSM, or ESM methodologies and their integration within Jira. 
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (such as AWS or Google Cloud) and Jira integrations. 
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, capable of assisting both technical and non-technical users. 
  • A background in DevOps, IT, or software development is highly desirable. 
  • Open to EU/EFTA citizens, holders of a Cyprus work permit, or foreign nationals married to an EU citizen.
