Our client is a prestigious and well-established accounting firm located in West London, known for its strong reputation in the industry. As part of their continued growth and expansion, they are looking to recruit an experienced Account Manager to join their dynamic team.

Position Overview:

The Account Manager will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of client accounts, providing high-quality financial advice, and overseeing tax compliance. This is a client-facing role that requires a proactive approach to managing relationships and a strong understanding of both financial advisory and tax requirements. Additionally, you will be expected to generate new business opportunities to expand your client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring high standards of service and client satisfaction.
  • Provide expert financial advice, including tax planning and compliance services, to clients.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns and related documentation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing strategic advice to support their financial goals.
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities to grow your client portfolio.
  • Ensure that clients are fully informed on relevant tax matters and compliance requirements.
  • Work closely with senior management and other teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation.

Must-Have Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7 years experience in account management within a practice or accounting firm.
  • ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, or other relevant accounting certifications (or equivalent professional qualification).
  • Proven experience in tax advising and financial planning.
  • Demonstrable fee-generating experience, with a strong focus on business development.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
