Funding Manager

Job Description

As part of a dynamic scale-up environment, your role will involve a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Presenting the company and its offerings to potential clients primarily via phone
  • Managing your own lead generation efforts and converting inbound inquiries
  • Building new business relationships by delivering exceptional customer service and presenting our products
  • Meeting and exceeding productivity and sales KPIs set by the company
  • Complying with FCA conduct rules and fulfilling the core responsibilities related to sales
  • Maintaining a sales pipeline and ensuring accurate administration within internal systems to support fair customer treatment
  • Creating client quotes and proposals and ensuring proper financial procedures are followed throughout the process
  • Assessing client requirements and pricing transactions accordingly
  • Adhering to all relevant compliance regulations and legislation
  • Contributing to the company’s culture, development, and maintaining a strong reputation.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of prior sales experience (experience in funding/lending brokerage firm is a must)
  • Knowledge of asset finance working in a brokerage firm and the broader financial sector
  • Able to build and maintain strong client relationships and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • A good understanding of the products offered (such as unsecured loans, Business loans, and asset finance) and the target market.
  • Skilled in negotiation and influencing decisions
  • Experience in generating sales leads via phone.
