Application Support Engineer

Job Description

Our client is a prominent Fintech organization that focuses on trading and providing affordable exchange solutions. They boast a skilled and vibrant workforce consisting of top-notch industry experts from 22 different nationalities.

Location: Remote (We need candidates based in China).

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming client requests via online chat, email, and phone for company products and - services.
  • Create a positive customer support experience, by handling requests in a timely manner while maintaining a professional attitude.
  • Resolve or escalate any issues reported by clients, highlighted by monitoring system alerts or discovered during checks, in a quick and efficient manner.
  • Follow the processes and procedures of the Level-1 & 2 Department.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of the company's offering and forthcoming releases - Systems Administrator for MT4/MT5.

Expectations & Requirements:

  • Ability to grasp technical and financial concepts with ease, based on the available training material.
  • FinTech industry background is also a plus - Hands-on experience with trading platforms, preferably with MT4/MT5, is a plus.
  • Good understanding of MySQL/MariaDB RDBMS & Monitoring and alerting tools (Icinga2, Zabbix, Grafana) knowledge is also a plus.
  • Customer-minded, able to communicate efficiently with clients.
  • Ability to handle daily workload with minimal supervision.
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Results-driven and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work on shifting schedule especially should be willing to work in a Night Shift if required.
  • Network/System Admin knowledge is a plus - Fluency in Chinese and English.
