Sales Associate/Broker

Job Description

The firm is a worldwide financial technology company that runs technology-based trading platforms. It provides clients with multiple trading options, such as Contracts for Difference and share trading, as well as futures and options on futures in the United States. 

They are looking for a Sales Associate. The position would be ideal for a finance or economics graduate with demonstrated experience in futures trading and networking. Strong analytical skills, coupled with exceptional communication and a willingness to adapt to fast-paced environments, are essential. 

 Roles & Responsibilities:   

  • Establish a robust client base aligned with company values. 
  • Proactively engage in cold calling and networking with potential clients. 
  • Execute trades across futures markets, spanning commodities, currencies, and financial derivatives. 
  • Offer market insights and research to aid clients in their trading decisions. 
  • Foster and maintain client relationships, understanding their investment goals and risk appetites. 
  • Remain abreast of market trends and news to anticipate opportunities and risks. 
  • Educate clients on futures trading products, risk management, and strategies. 
  • Monitor client accounts, providing updates and recommendations as necessary. 
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and company policies in all trading activities. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency. 
  • Drive towards surpassing sales targets and performance benchmarks continually. 

Expectations & Requirements:  

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; Master's degree or professional certifications preferred. 
  • Demonstrated experience in futures trading, brokerage, or similar financial services positions. 
  • Proven track record in cold calling and networking. 
  • Solid grasp of financial markets, including futures products, trading tactics, and risk management. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, adept at deciphering intricate data and market trends. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal aptitude, fostering trust and rapport with clients. 
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments, adept at managing multiple priorities and deadlines. 
  • Proficient in trading platforms, market analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Exhibits high integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards. 
  • Flexible scheduling, willing to work early mornings or late evenings to accommodate global market hours. 
  • Previous sales or client-facing experience preferred.
