The Company's is an AI-powered fintech enterprise offering a sophisticated alternative to traditional business bank accounts. With the Company's platform, sole traders and small businesses throughout the UK can easily access business accounts, manage tax calculations and filings, generate professional invoices, organize receipts, and maintain financial oversight. 

Role Description: 

  • The primary objective of this position is to support the Company's growth initiatives in business banking. The successful candidate will identify new opportunities for valuable partnerships where the Company's services can be extended to their respective audiences. This role requires the individual to possess an existing network or profound industry expertise to expedite the establishment of new relationships and acquisition channels. Collaboration with product, marketing, and operations teams is essential to ensure exceptional customer service for potential clients and to adapt the product/proposition accordingly. Strong stakeholder management skills focusing on customer outcomes and value delivery are crucial. 

Principal Accountabilities: 

  • Articulate the Company's value proposition clearly to decision-makers within our target customer segments and specialized sectors. 
  • Identify new opportunities, markets, and sectors, and develop a well-defined action plan. 
  • Utilize numerical data and forecasts to create delivery roadmaps. 
  • Understand the onboarding process and requirements, providing support to customers and prospects to facilitate a smooth transition. 
  • Execute the business plan for the role and actively manage objectives and personal development plans. 
  • Adhere to all mandatory policies and operational procedures to maintain internal controls. 

Personal Attributes & Experience: 

  • Possess an understanding of startup and SME markets. 
  • Demonstrated track record in business development, particularly in financial services, preferably in business banking. 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with specialized colleagues such as Relationship Managers, Operations, KYCB, and underwriters to achieve positive outcomes for customers. 
  • Exhibit comprehension of regulatory requirements within this market.
