   Roles & Responsibilities:   

• Assessing market trends and suggesting strategic adjustments to business operations in response to emerging risks. 
• Enforcing internal controls, including policies, procedures, and training, to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards. 
• Conducting thorough risk evaluations of the company’s activities, pinpointing potential threats and mitigation measures, and tracking risk levels continuously. 
• Formulating a risk management strategy that complements the company’s broader business objectives. 
• Advising on appropriate insurance coverage to safeguard the organisation against possible losses. 
• Evaluating data to recommend new products or services, considering potential risks to the company or its customers. 
• Proposing modifications to operational processes or procedures to reduce or manage risk effectively. 
• Offering risk management guidance to other departments within the company. 
• Fostering a risk-aware culture among employees to enhance their awareness of potential hazards in their work environment. 

Expectations & Requirements:   

• Possess a university degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Risk Management. 
• Hold either a Basic or Advanced Certification from the Cyprus Securities & Exchange Commission. 
• Accumulate a minimum of 6 years of experience in risk management, insurance or liability research, or actuarial management. 
• Demonstrate a strong grasp of the regulatory framework governing financial markets and investment firms. 
• A comprehensive understanding of financial and capital markets will be highly advantageous. 
• Exhibit fluency in English, both spoken and written. Proficiency in additional languages will be viewed positively.
