About the Company

A rapidly growing FinTech and digital asset firm is expanding its compliance and legal operations team in Cyprus. The company focuses on innovative financial technologies and digital services, operating in a dynamic, regulated, and fast-paced international environment.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Licensing Officer to oversee and manage licensing processes across multiple jurisdictions. This is a key role within the organization’s regulatory and legal framework, ensuring full compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end preparation, submission, and management of licensing applications in EU and offshore jurisdictions.
• Draft, review, and maintain licensing policies and procedures related to digital asset services and financial products.
• Ensure all applications and supporting documentation adhere to relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with regulators, legal advisors, and internal departments to advance licensing submissions efficiently.
• Monitor global regulatory changes and update internal compliance processes accordingly.
• Advise senior management on licensing strategy, application timelines, and risk areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (mandatory).
• 3–4 years of experience in licensing, regulatory compliance, or legal policy drafting within the financial services or FinTech industry.
• Proven track record of preparing and submitting licensing applications from scratch in both EU and offshore jurisdictions.
• Strong understanding of CASP and CFD regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
