Head of Asia – Public Affairs & Regulatory Compliance

Location: Remote (Asia-based)

Employment Type: Full-Time B2B/Service Agreement Contract

Our client is a Leading Crypto Focused Advocacy Group which is looking for a Head of Asia – Public Affairs & Regulatory Compliance to drive policy advocacy, licensing, and government engagement across Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Japan. If you know how to navigate complex regulatory environments, build trust with regulators, and shape policy in the crypto & blockchain space, this role is for you.

What you’ll do:

• Lead regulatory strategy and political monitoring across Asia
• Represent clients with regulators and policymakers
• Support licensing, registration, and compliance efforts
• Engage with authorities like MAS, HKMA, and regional counterparts
• Speak at high-level industry events and forums

Who you are:

• 3–5+ years in public affairs, regulatory, or policy roles
• Strong Asia regulatory expertise (fintech/crypto preferred)
• Well-connected with regulators and government stakeholders
• Strategic, client-focused, and comfortable in a remote global team
• Willing to travel across Asia
