Global Head of Business Development

Job Description

A well-established global online trading and fintech organization is seeking to appoint an experienced Global Head of Business Development to lead international expansion, strengthen strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth across multiple regions. 

This senior leadership position is suited for a commercially driven professional with a proven global track record in the Forex/CFD industry, particularly in scaling Introducing Broker (IB) networks, developing international partnerships, and leading high-performing business development teams. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute global business development strategies to support international growth and market expansion 
  • Identify, develop, and manage relationships with Introducing Brokers, affiliates, and strategic partners globally 
  • Work closely with regional Heads and Business Development Managers to support commercial expansion initiatives 
  • Provide strategic and operational guidance to international business development teams to maximize performance and revenue generation 
  • Mentor, train, and develop team members to strengthen commercial capabilities and achieve business targets 
  • Represent the organization at international forex expos, fintech conferences, and industry networking events 
  • Travel frequently to regional offices and partner locations to strengthen business relationships and identify new opportunities 
  • Support the organization and coordination of seminars, educational events, and business presentations across various markets 
  • Prepare business performance reports, market analysis, and strategic recommendations for senior management 
  • Ensure all business development activities are aligned with internal directives and applicable regulatory and compliance standards 

Requirements: 

  • Proven experience in a senior Business Development leadership role within the Forex, CFDs, or Online Trading industry is essential 
  • Demonstrated international experience across multiple regions globally, rather than exposure limited to one or two specific markets 
  • Strong understanding of Introducing Broker (IB) networks, partnership development, and global client acquisition strategies 
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding international partnerships 
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management capabilities 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills 
  • Fluent English is required; additional languages will be considered an advantage 
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally on a frequent basis
