We’re working with a rapidly growing, international technology-driven financial services business looking for a commercially minded Senior Commercial Legal Counsel to join its legal team. This is a high-ownership position for someone who can take a problem, assess the legal and commercial risks, negotiate the solution and confidently advise senior stakeholders.

???? What you'll own:

• Complex commercial contracts & negotiations
• Technology, SaaS, vendor, marketing & service agreements
• Trading and financial-services documentation
• Cross-border commercial matters & strategic partnerships
• M&A / JV / investment-related projects
• EU & UK financial-services regulatory matters
• Data protection, privacy, IT/IP and related legal matters
• Practical legal advice to Product, Finance, Operations, Technology and commercial teams

???? We're looking for:

• 7–10+ years PQE, qualified lawyer in an EU, UK or common-law jurisdiction
• Strong in-house commercial legal experience
• Background in FinTech, financial services, trading, brokerage, payments or another highly regulated technology business
• Excellent commercial contract drafting & negotiation skills
• Strong understanding of EU / UK (MiFID/ MiCA) financial-services regulation
• Experience independently managing complex, cross-border matters
• Excellent English communication and drafting skills
• Commercial mindset with the confidence to make decisions independently
• Comfortable working with technology and genuinely interested in AI-driven businesses ????
